Aboriginal Quitline is a dedicated website and culturally-safe counselling service provided by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Designed in consultation with Aboriginal communities across Victoria, SA, NT, and WA, Aboriginal Quitline provides tailored support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people looking to quit smoking and vaping.
Designed in consultation
with community
Our process involved collaborating with indigenous consultants and community elders across user experience, design, and content.
The website features elements from an artwork with permission from the artist Talitha Podger, Wemba Wemba & Mutthi Mutthi. Artwork was refreshed in 2024, and the community and artist were engaged to ensure the usage of the artwork was consistent with the original artwork's intent and that the design approach and content spoke to the community.

User experience
An important part of the process for the user experience and design of this website was to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities at every stage. The design needed to feel distinctly Aboriginal, but was still required to visually communicate the recognisable Quit brand.
